Taylor Swift And Brendon Urie Release New Feel Good Single And Music Video ‘ME!’
Taylor Swift is BACK, people!
After stepping off her award-winning Reputation Stadium Tour last year (which became the 13th highest grossing tour ever, FYI), Swift went incognito and fans quickly assumed it was because the singer was working on her next project, TS7.
After weeks of cryptic posts and a lot of crazy fan theories (we’ve never been so confused by photos of pretty pink pastel hearts and butterflies in our life), the singer revealed last night that she was releasing a brand new single AND music video with Panic! At The Disco’s Brendon Urie at midnight.
Watch Taylor Swift And Brendon Urie’s ‘ME!’ Music Video Right Now:
The two talented singers have collaborated for the feel-good song we didn’t know we needed. Not taking themselves too seriously (as aren’t we all best when we don’t?) in the music video, the duo dance through the streets in pastel outfits, free fall with umbrellas, and make it rain paint. Oh, and there’s also an iconic fight scene in which the two argue in French in front of T Swift’s daughters (her cats).
The song itself is an upbeat, dizzyingly addictive pop anthem that we just know is going to be on everyone’s playlists this summer. With lyrics that make you feel proud to be a little bit crazy and weird, a bridge you just HAVE to chant, and Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie giving you a little spelling lesson (although very inaccurate), it’s clear that they’ve brought the heat with this track.
We’re obsessed and will be watching it all day today, folks. Happy 4.26! Is this day going down in history now or..?
